Situated about a four drive of southeast of Nairobi, Amboseli national park is often called the ‘Land of the Giants” due to its big tusked elephants. How to Reach Amboseli National Park

Amboseli national park is easily accesible through all transportation means so it makes easier for the visitors to reach the destination without any hassle.

Via Flight: Amboseli airport is the nearest airport that is meant to carry visitors from a few airports around Kenya to the park. Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi is also near to the park which is 205 km by road towards the north-west of the park.  

Via Road: No direct buses ply to Nairobi or other areas in Amboseli. If you want to board a bus you can hop onto the mini busses called Matutus that run to and fro from the city on daily basis. These are more like taxis rather than buses. Few tour operators who provide coach services operate and drop you at the gate of the national park.
