Diggers’ Memorial

The Digger’s Memorial in Kimberley is one of the famous monuments that form the part of city’s heritage. The memorial depicts five life sized miners who hold up the diamond sieve above their heads. Kamfer’s Dam

Situated just north of Kimberly, Kamfer’s Dam is a reservoir that covers for about 400 hectares. It is a privately owned dam which was once a completely dry pan. It is one of four breeding sites in Africa and is a particular sight for the flamingoes. These birds can be seen feeding and breeding in the entire region.
