Best Time To Visit Kibale National Park

Kibale National Park is open for chimpanzee tracking throughout the year but an ideal time to enjoy the tracking is from the month of December to February and the months of June to September. The high season of tourism runs from June to September and the low season runs in March, April, May and November. You can enjoy various activities during this season and overall experience can be more enjoyable and fun filled.

It is an all day experience where you will spend some time interacting with the chimps and get to know about their natural environment. Apart from the chimpanzees you can also spot other primates such as birds, butterflies, trees and other mammals.

For those children who are under the age of 15 are not allowed to go for chimpanzee tracking. For them there are plenty of kid friendly things to do that will keep the kids enthralled all day long. How to Reach Kibale National Park

Kibale National park is situated in Western Uganda and can be easily accessed via air. The nearest airport to Kibale is Entebbe International airport. From there you can hire a taxi or a cab to reach the forest. Kibale is a direct route from Kampala which is about 16km prior to Fort Port. If you wish to travel by bus, you can hire from Kampala to Fort Port via Sebitoli and from there you can directly reach Kibale national park through Kamwenge via Kanyanchu.
