Itinerary
Begin your Rovos Rail tour with your departure from Pretoria. The train journey through the stunning landscape of Africa allows the visitors to explore the hidden gems of the place. You will be served lunch in your dining cars as it move towards Warmbaths and Nylstroom where you will cross the Tropic of Capricorn. Later enjoy your afternoon tea and dinner while traveling to Messina and Beitbridge for your border formalities of Zimbabwe.
Have your breakfast and head towards Bulawayo via Rutenga and Somabhula. Enjoy the scenic route along the way and make the most of your trip. Enjoy your lunch and dinner inside the train and overnight stop will be at Mpopoma.
As the train departs from Mpopoma, you will be served breakfast inside the train. While on your journey, travel along the eastern edge of the famous Hwange National Park. The largest and the most famous national park in Zimbabwe, Hwange National Park offers excellent wildlife viewing and an amazing attraction in Africa. Traveling along the eastern edge of the park is Africa’s longest stretches of straight railway line. Enjoy sumptuous lunch that will be served inside the train and later arrive at Kennedy to enjoy game drive at The Hide. Watch the endangered species from a closer view and make the most of your trip. Your dinner will be served in the dining car and reach Thompsons Junction for an overnight stop.
Early morning by 07h00 your train will depart from Thompsons and you will be served breakfast in your dining car. Later arrive in Victoria Falls and depart for your onward journey.
